Biomechanical Evaluation
Mechanical performance of the orthopedic implants in interaction with the bone tissue would be the key factor for biomechanical safety of the implant during implantation period. For fixation implants, such as bone plate and screws, there is no functional standard that address the mechanical evaluation of the implant, while is implanting too the bone and simulating of the fracture pattern. On the other hand, it might not be possible to supply the equivalent devices for comparison of the biomechanical performance. Thus, it is essentially required to provide an effective biomechanical evaluation protocol for assessment of bone-implant construct against of prominent physiological loading condition at the fixation site
